Long time without a real update...

Current Location: Seattle

I've been working at the tech startup Pelago, makers of Whrrl for a few months now. It's been a ton of fun, and I've learned more than I thought was possible. Not only do I have a better appreciation for the work that goes into a startup, but I'm eager to see what challenges tomorrow brings. I don't know if my counterparts at large companies XY&Z share my enthusiasm. :)

In other news, I've picked up a new camera bag.. this one will fit my laptop so I've made it my primary carrying case. Hopefully, with my camera with me all day I'll have more pictures to share.

I'll try to update this more frequently, but you never know with how busy I am these days.

Erlang is the Future.

Just to make chris upset, I am proclaming Erlang the future of programming. Plz stop all development in other languages. I will only review/build/test/checkout code written in Erlang. Thx.

ACM@UIUC R|P Conference

Conference this year was good. Talks are online now under Videos. I personally enjoyed the Steve Yegge and Randall Munroe talks.

In other news - TCIP is done with, time to finish my Masters and get out of here.
